For over 145 years, the Great Western Races have brought racegoers to the heart of the Grampians wine village – a celebration of summer, tradition, and timeless regional hospitality.

This year, we invite you to join us in The Seppelt Circle – formerly known as the VIP Enclosure – for an elevated race day experience beneath the pines. A private space for our closest friends and guests, where the food is generous, the wine flows freely, and the company is as good as it gets.

Your day begins at 10am on the lawns of Seppelt Great Western, with sparkling wine and canapés on arrival. The new vintage of our iconic Show Sparkling Shiraz will be chilled and ready, and your host will be there to welcome you as we gather before the races.

Around midday, guests can stroll or take a short shuttle to the Great Western Racecourse, where your seat awaits in The Seppelt Circle, offering sweeping views of the track and a private bar.

Lunch is the centrepiece – a beautifully prepared, seated meal by Executive Chef Bryden Buckingham, showcasing the best of the Grampians’ local produce. It’s relaxed, refined, and served at your pace throughout the afternoon.

With a private bookmaker, premium wines, and front-row views of the Seppelt Great Western Cup, it’s a race day experience like no other.
